This Privacy Policy describes how somethingwild.co (the “Site” or “we”) collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site. By using the Website, you (“you”) agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. 

This Privacy Policy applies to all users, including those who use the Website without subscribing to the Website and those who have subscribed to the Website (collectively “users”). This Privacy Policy applies to our collection and use of your personal information (i.e., information that identifies a specific person, such as full name or email address). 

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), advertising/retargeting, and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Text Marketing Terms and Conditions:

We are using a text messaging platform, which is subject to the following terms and conditions. By opting-in for our text marketing and notifications, you agree to these terms and conditions.

By entering your phone number in the checkout and initialising a purchase, subscribing via our subscription form or a keyword, you agree that we may send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned cart reminders) and text marketing offers. Text messages will not exceed 30 in any calendar month. You acknowledge that consent is not a condition for any purchase.

Your phone number, name and purchase information will be shared with all of our SMS platform services. This data will be used for sending you targeted marketing messages and notifications. Upon sending the text messages, your phone number will be passed to a text messages operator to fulfill their delivery.

If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you with in any of our messages. You understand and agree that alternative methods of opting out, such as using alternative words or requests will not be accounted as a reasonable means of opting out. Message and data rates may apply.

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS
CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

Please note your right to know and right to delete are subject to certain exceptions under the CCPA.   •     Disclosures About Your Information: We collect the information as described under Section 1 entitled “INFORMATION WE COLLECT”. Something Wild uses this information as described under Section 2 entitled “HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED” 

  •     Right to Know: California residents may request information regarding the following: the categories of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which the personal information was collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling personal information, the categories of third parties with whom the business shares personal information and the specific pieces of personal information it has collected about that consumer.  

  •     Right to Delete:You may request that we delete the personal information that we have collected about you. Note that we may retain some information as required or permitted by applicable law. Please note that, although we do our best to remove information or content, Something Wild cannot guarantee complete removal (i.e. when content or information has been reposted by a third party user). 

  •     Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate you for exercising any of these above-mentioned rights.

 If you are a resident of the European Union, you have certain rights and protections under the law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDRP”), regarding the processing of your personal data.

We uses your information as described under Section 3 entitled “HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED.” We will only use your information with your consent to do so, which you may withdraw at any time.

  •     Right to Rectify: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Something Wild to complete information you believe is incomplete. 

  •     Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal information, subject to certain conditions. 

  •     Right to Data Portability:You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions. 

  •     Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate you for exercising any of these above-motioned rights. 

  •     We do not and will not sell personal data as the term “sell” is defined by the CCPA.

DATA RETENTION
Something Wild retains your information for as long as your account is active, or as long as needed for the business purposes described in this Privacy Policy, in accordance with applicable legal standards. We will process your personal data for no longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law. 

CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
